There’s a sacred, untapped potential waiting inside all of us — a path that leads to elderhood, mentorship, and the kind of wisdom that only comes with experience. It's a path walked by the seasoned warrior, the benevolent King, who has weathered the storms of life and now stands ready to offer his gifts to the world. It’s a path that calls us to not only reflect on the past but to harvest its lessons, harness its power, and then wield it for something far greater than ourselves.

I believe we all have this power within us. It’s there in every interaction we’ve had, every pivotal moment, every failure that taught us something profound, every opportunity to grow that life threw our way. These are the crops we harvest — the nutrients that fed us, that shaped us into who we are today. We don’t just let these experiences pass us by. We collect them, sift through them, and find the gold that lies hidden beneath.

Harvesting the Wisdom of Life

Harvesting is more than just reflection. It’s about recognizing the invaluable lessons embedded in every part of our journey. It’s knowing, deep within, that we’ve gathered something that cannot be taken away, something immutable, something eternal. These are the gifts that life has gifted us — the genius, the brilliance, the moments of impeccable immersion where we’ve truly been available to life.

But harvesting alone is not enough. We must then harness that energy, that wisdom, and put it into a place where we can see it clearly. It’s about making sense of what we’ve learned and understanding how to carry it forward. It’s about positioning ourselves, knowing the depth of the treasures we’ve gathered and how they can serve us — and others — in powerful ways.

Wielding for the Greater Good

And once we’ve harvested and harnessed, we must wield this power. We must take what we’ve learned and use it to create magic. This could show up in our love, in our leadership, in our service to others. It’s about wielding what we have for the greater good. Whether it’s through leadership or mentorship, being of service to a community or to an individual, we’re called to use our gifts in a way that elevates and uplifts.

But this isn’t just about the grand gestures. This is about immersing ourselves fully in life — showing up, being present, and engaging with the world around us with open arms and an open heart. It’s about loving our fate, embracing the ups and downs, and recognizing that everything — absolutely everything — has its place in our journey. Amor Fati. Love your fate. Fall in love with the life you’re living, even when it’s messy, imperfect, and unpredictable.

And when we do this, when we wield our wisdom, our love, and our power, we create magic. We help others understand their own unique power, and we support them in transmuting that energy into something beautiful, something brilliant.

Building a Tribe of Mentors

This path I’m talking about doesn’t end with us. It’s about creating a community — a tribe of mentors, to borrow from Tim Ferriss. It’s about coming together, offering our wisdom to one another, and supporting the greater whole. This tribe isn’t some abstract ideal. It’s a living, breathing collective where we can reflect on each other’s journeys, learn from one another, and continue to grow together.

We must be accessible, approachable, and open to receiving and giving. Because what we have is too valuable to keep to ourselves. The world needs what we know, what we’ve learned, and what we are ready to offer.

This is how we build a legacy — through service, through leadership, through love. This is how we become elders. This is how we truly begin to wield the magic of our lives.
